Waldo's Warmers

What is a “Waldo’s Warmer”? You have come to the right place for that answer.  My name is Jennifer Woods; I am the owner and creator of Waldo’s Warmers.  I live with chronic pain, Lupus, fibromyalgia and some other not so pleasant health issues.  After burning my 5th rice sock from the local drug store in my microwave I looked over at my sewing machine and thought “I can make something better!”  After I made my first warmer, my fiancé snagged it, took it to work to use with his knee injury. His co-workers wanted their own!  Before I knew it, friends and family were asking to purchase one, or two!  At about the same time we had just rescued a 0.85lb puppy.  He was unable to keep his body temp; the vet said they would be surprised if he lived 24 hours. We put him on a warmer; he cuddled right up and fell asleep!  To this day, 7 months later he still uses his warmer every night.  We named him Waldo, and just like that, because of him, we had our name! Our warmers can be used in the microwave or freezer.  For people and pets too!

This summer has been hot!  The desire has been high for our Car Seat Coolers.  They are simple to use, you place the gel packs in the pockets, then place it on the car seat while you are running errands.  When you return to the car, no more burning buckles or miserable kids.  Adults are using them for their seats also.  I had made a few proto-types, passed them out to my “mom panel”, and found what worked best.  If you would like to be entered to win a free car seat cooler, “like” our page and comment “Macaroni Kids” to be entered.  This is a special contest I am running just for the readers of this newsletter!

I have made as many to donate to charities and low income families as I have made for my customers.  I am a single mom with 3 kids, I know it’s hard. I try to keep all of my items affordable.  No one yet has been turned away.  Will I retire a millionaire? Probably not, I am ok with that, I give back as often as I can and that is good for my heart. As a Veteran, I leaned early about attention to detail and make sure that shows in every product I put our name on.  Waldo’s Warmers are more than cold and hot pads.  I make blankets, Car Seat Coolers, sensory products for special needs children and adults and so much more.  I research each product I make. I know what does work and what doesn’t.  Did you know that both rice and flax have a high fire rate?  I only work with what I know is safe. I use a local supplier that only carries the highest quality clean whole corn. I use certified organic therapeutic grade doTerra oils for Aromatherapy, free of charge for any customer who asks.
