Little America Hotel

ROAD TRIP!

My family and I decided to take a last-minute trip to Flagstaff. I love heading north and escaping the city. I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2007 and I have not been to flag since then. This was our first family vacation in a long time. I asked my husband where he wanted to stay and he said the only place he was willing to stay was Little America. I remember enjoying our stay many years ago so I booked two nights there. We were ready to get out of town and have some fun!

Making a reservation was extremely easy online and they made sure that we had everything we needed before our arrival. When we arrived to the hotel, the front desk very promptly greeted us and made our check-in quick and easy. They are currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation so the lobby wasn't really a lobby anymore but that didn't stop the wonderful customer service at check-in! We were given our keys, told where to go, and we ventured off to our room.

We received a map and excellent directions to our room. When we arrived to the building we walked up to the second floor to where our room was located. When we enter the room it was very clean, didn't have any weird smells to it, and it was very bright and welcoming. There were plenty of towels, plenty of toilet paper, just the right amount of pillows, and a nice flat screen TV! We had a suite that had a king bed in one area and a pullout couch in the other. My daughter was so excited to be able to have an area for her and her brother to share.  The layout of the one room felt very spacious with a family of four staying there and the courtyard area out the window looked majestic with all of the snow (we sat inside and admired the snow from our warm and cozy room.)

We have traveled quite a bit and have had some rooms that were noisy, luckily this was not the case for Little America! We all slept very well, and didn't hear anything going on outside of our room! I always worry about people having their TV on too loud or having a noisy group...even if they were staying next door, we wouldn't have known it! It's nice to have consistency with their hotel rooms and know that we will be able to sleep!

We are looking forward to seeing the renovations that are underway right now. We have always loved Little America so we're excited to see what they have done to improve their already wonderful hotel. We highly recommend staying at this hotel If you end up in Flagstaff!
