Kids can learn from the actors you see on the Childsplay stage! Youth ages 4-17 work with top local actors, directors, choreographers and professional teaching artists. Classes focus on age-appropriate topics, musical theatre, popular children’s literature and more! All classes work on acting techniques and are a great way to gain skills while developing confidence, staying active, making friends and, most importantly, HAVING FUN! Classes are held at two locations in downtown Tempe:
Campus for Imagination and Wonder (CIW)

Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA)

Medication Policy: Childsplay staff is unable to administer any medication to program participants including Epi-pens.
Cancellation Policy: Registrations are final and there are no refunds.
Extended Care:
Childsplay offers extended care at the CIW location, before and after classes, for students ages six and up.
Morning Session: 7:30-9:30am: $30 per week
Afternoon Session: 3:30-5:30pm: $30 per week
Morning and Afternoon Sessions: $50 per week
Tempe resident discount does not apply to extended care.
All extended care will take place at Childsplay’s Campus for Imagination and Wonder. During the final week of production classes, when rehearsals take place at the Tempe Center for the Arts, young people enrolled in extended care will be transported to the theater and back to campus by Childsplay staff in company vehicles.
