Peter Piper Pizza has an amazing restaurant tour that is an interactive experience! The tours are a wonderful way to get the children involved in the restaurant, providing a “behind the scenes” look that makes them feel like they know what’s going on. It then becomes fun for the kids to share the information with their parents, siblings and friends.
The children will learn how to roll out the dough, grating the cheese, learn interesting facts such as how many pounds of cheese we use a week, take them in the walk in cooler, (kids are always fascinated by this) how hot the oven is when cooking pizza, how many pizza’s can cook at one time, etc. Then after the tour the students roll up their sleeves and top their own 7” pizza! They will also receive a 12-oz drink, 10 tokens, and an “Official Pizza Maker” certificate (with a coupon food for a free 7” 1-Topping Pizza) all for just $4.99 per student. We also have special restaurant tours for Boy Scouts & Girls Scouts so they can earn one of their badges.
For the adults/Chaperones that attend we can offer our school pricing for our Large 1-Topping Pizza at $5.99 + tax, or we can offer our lunch buffet for $5.49 + tax with drinks included.
The tour takes about 20 minutes and can take groups of around 10-15 at a time thru. When we have large groups we have one group going thru the game room and another group going thru the back of the house so to get everyone thru in a timely manner. We ask that you have one chaperone per every 10 students. We want to make sure and have all the children thru the entire tour by the time our doors open at 11:00am.
We also have token packages if you would like to purchase extra tokens for the children. 100 tokens are $20 + tax or 300 tokens are $50.00 + tax
Once the children are finished going thru the tour and making their pizza then they can go back out to the dining room and play games while they wait on the pizza to bake. You are more than welcome to stay as long as you would like after the tour. It really is a fun field trip for the children.
They accept all major credit cards, checks and purchase orders from the schools or group planning this event.
