Hubbard Family Sport Camps

July 26, 2014
Hubbard Sports Camp is a fun filled, friendship building, and active way to enjoy the summer. You do not have to be an athlete to enjoy this camp. Some campers have never tried many of the sports and activities that we introduce to them. The campers that are skilled athletes are challenged and motivated by our highly qualified staff. Our goal is to guide and teach every camper according to their ability while making the activities fun and rewarding.

Camp Activities

Campers Favorite!! Robin Hood beware. We teach safety and shooting techniques with a bow and arrow. All ages see success from just hitting the target to hitting the bulls eye.

Basketballcamp basketball

Ball handling, defense, shooting, passing, and free throws are emphasized to develop a complete player.

Baseballcamp baseball

Fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting, fielding and base running are taught to enhance the love of our national past time.

Field Sportscamp field sports

We play kickball, tag, capture the flag, football, home run derby and other camp favorites such as medic and dodge ball. The games all campers love!

Soccercamp soccer

Dribbling, passing, shooting, foot skills and game concepts are introduced and enhanced.

Swimmingcamp swim

Thunderbird Academy, Tesseract High School, & New Way Academy locations have swim lessons in the morning during the week. Swimmers are divided by age & ability. The deck supervisor at each location evaluates the students and places them in the appropriate classes. We are not permitted to teach lessons at the Sunnyslope location since it is a city pool. All camps, including Sunnyslope, have supervised open swim in the afternoon (afternoon swim days vary per location).

Volleyballcamp volleyball

We concentrate on ball handling, bumping, passing, setting and team play.
