I was so excited for my first tattoo removal session with Desiree at Delete Tattoo Removal & Medical Salon in Phoenix. This was something I had wanted to do for over 10 years and it was finally happening! I couldn’t wait to get into the treatment room and start the process of having my tattoos removed. When I was at my consultation appointment the week before, I was given my paper work so that I could fill it out at home and bring it back in for my first appointment. I loved being able to do it in the comfort of my own home so that I wasn’t rushing through everything! They handed it all over to Desiree and she looked it over. She sat me down and let me know what the plan was for my appointment and how everything would work. I felt really comfortable with everything and couldn’t wait for her to start.
We started with my ankle. It is actually pretty light since it had already had tattoo removal treatments done on it before. It was so small that the treatment itself took about 30 seconds. It was quick and easy and not very painful at all! All I could think of is that I wish I had started this years ago and that I couldn’t wait for it to be totally gone! Desiree did let me know that the tattoos would start to look darker after the first session and to be prepared to see them looking darker and better than ever!

Desiree then moved onto my upper back tattoo. I hadn’t had any treatments on this tattoo before so it was pretty dark and she let me know it would need about 8 treatments. She had me hold onto a pillow and arch my back out a bit. She also gave me an orange Delete stress ball to hold, I didn’t think I was going to need it, but I was so happy that I held onto it because it was a good distraction during the treatment. The back was more painful than my ankle was and I was kind of regretting that I turned down the numbing injection. It was totally tolerable, it was a quick treatment, but I will try the injection soon so that I don’t need to worry about feeling everything and so that I can let you know about which way I prefer for my tattoo to be removed.

The whole removal process took about 2 minutes of my time. It was so fast and easy and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience at Delete Tattoo Removal & Medical Salon!
