Where to get help for childcare

In Central Phoenix

Childcare is an essential service that provides parents with the opportunity to work while ensuring that children receive quality care and education. However, for low-income families, access to affordable childcare can be a struggle.

The cost of childcare can be prohibitive for many families, especially those living on a tight budget. With the high cost of living, paying for childcare is an additional burden that many low-income families cannot afford. This means that some parents may opt to leave their children with unlicensed caregivers or may be forced to quit working to care for their children.

However, this is not a sustainable solution. Children need quality care and education to thrive, and parents need the opportunity to work to support their families. Without access to affordable childcare, low-income families may struggle to make ends meet and may not be able to provide their children with the best opportunities for success.

I never knew up until recently where to go for childcare help.  If you are low income and your kid’s are vaccinated here is a good option for you.  I am assuming that I am not the only one That didn’t know where to find this info. So for those who do not know how to go about getting state paid help here ya go.  First, you need to fill out an application.   You can find that right here.  When you have filled it out you are going to have to turn in the application to a local des office.  Now after turning in your application it may take up to 30 days to process your application.  You can go here to get all the info you need to get started with this.

I know that not everybody can get that assistance.  If you choose not to vaccinate your kids or make just above the poverty level then that help is not available to you.  I am one of those people as a matter of fact. So what do we do? I have spent to many countless hours on the Craigslist and Facebook groups looking for a sitter.  So many that I wanted to just throw my laptop out my 2nd story window!  I found one real nice lady who was my sitter for a minute but she was trying to become registered with the state and said she couldn’t watch my son unless he got vaccinated.  So back to the searching I went.  The results for us- dad staying home with the kids and me working 3 jobs to pay the bills.

I know most parents don’t have a few days/weeks to spend searching to find a work sitter or the last min ‘date night’ sitters. So I wanted to start a directory of all the local in home or go to your home sitters.  If you would like to be listed in the Sitter Directory please fill out this form and send an email to me stating you are interested.  I think this will be a big help to both parents and sitters.
